Once you have registered our negotiators will select properties that match your details. They will then call you up to arrange viewings as soon as possible.

Referencing
Once you have found a property and the Landlord has agreed the terms and moving dates you will be required to put down a non-refundable holding deposit (usually of one weeks rent) to the agent. This is to secure the property whilst your references are being processed and you are waiting to move in. We use a certified credit agency. Any information given is completely confidential and will not be passed on. It usually takes about three working days to process the information you have given. Once we receive the reports back we will let you know the out come. The references are then forwarded to the Landlord where they will decide if you are accepted for tenancy.

Tenancy Agreement
Once you and the Landlord are ready we will draw up the relevant paper work, which will form the agreement for your tenancy signed by both the tenant, Landlord and any guarantors.

Rent and Deposit
Most Landlords require a rental payment in advance and a deposit prior to moving into the property. The deposit will be reimbursed to you at the end of the tenancy subject to the agreement and inventory checkout report.

Inventory
An Inventory may be carried out which outlines the condition and contents of the property prior to the start of the tenancy. Both parties will sign it and the Landlord and Tenant will keep copies.

Signing Tenancy Agreement
Once all the relevant paper work has been provided and references accepted all that is left to do is read through and sign the contract. This is normally done on the day you have requested to move in, all though you can request to read the contract prior to this. It is normal to pay the outstanding balance at this point it must be cleared funds in the form of cash or Bankers draft provided by your bank.
You should also bring details of your bank account so we can set up a monthly standing order from your bank directly to the landlords to ensure the landlord is paid on time every month.

Congratulations!
Apple London congratulates you on your new home you can now move in!
